Kathleen designs and creates unique, hand crafted handbags incorporating the colours and tones of the Irish landscape using luxury Irish Hand-woven Fabrics.

The beautiful interlining is that used by a renowned French Designer of quality handbags.  Luxury velvets and/or silk fabrics are used for lining the handbags.  A magnetic catch is used for closure, leaving the luxury linings visible.

An attractive, handmade, unique embellishment is attached to each bag by a brooch pin, meaning it can be removed and worn as a brooch. Each bag has a large pocket, a small pen pocket and a phone pocket.

Tattykeel Design Studio Handbags, whilst not shopping bags, are both functional and decorative, making them perfect for that special occasion.

All Silk scarves begin life as white 100% best quality silk including Twill Silk, Crêpe de Chine Silk, Silk Georgette, Satin Silk and Silk Velvets.  The Woollen scarves are hand-painted using the finest quality wool fabric.

All scarves are hand painted on the silk or wool Professional French Dyes, carefully blended to produce vibrant yet subtle tones. Kathleen is also a Batik painter and this technique is used in many of her designs.

The scarves are then wrapped and steamed to fix/seal the dye colours to reveal their full lustre and intensity. Finally, the scarves are hand washed and ironed and the edges of the Silk Scarves hand rolled and stitched. Each scarf is a unique piece of Art making for a very Special Gift.
